Responsibilities- Design and Development
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends, competitors' products, customer experience, and advances in various engineering fields.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust, scalable, secure, and extensible electrical engineering solutions for our cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in creating intellectual property and may file patents within personal area of scope and complete necessary patent documentation.
- Testing and Verification
- Ensure that test requirements are included in documentation and specifications for electrical engineering solutions.
- Determine the appropriate test equipment for measuring electrical engineering solutions according to existing verification plans.
- Write design verification test cases using standard templates and test methodologies.
- Technical Project Implementation
- Follow project implementation schedules to deliver electrical engineering solutions for our cloud infrastructure.
- Implement and track product plans, under guidance from other engineers.
- Highlight potential issues that may affect downstream execution of projects.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Follow established procedures to participate in creating detailed reports and functional specifications for electrical engineering solutions.
- Document essential details about materials, components, and/or assemblies for electrical engineering solutions via accepted release processes.
- Education and Experience
- Proven relevant and related technical engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Language Skills
- Proficiency in written, reading, and conversational English and French.
- Background Check Requirements
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and technical engineering experience.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
