Position Overview: As a Claims Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire claims process for our property insurance portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of claim handling, from initial registration to final settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register and assess incoming insurance claims promptly and accurately.
  • Thoroughly review policy contracts to verify coverage and applicable terms.
  • Collect and meticulously examine all necessary documentation from claimants and third parties, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with expert assessors and adjusters to obtain comprehensive evaluations of claims.
  • Analyze expert reports and make informed decisions regarding liability and settlement amounts.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with policyholders throughout the claims process, providing updates and addressing their inquiries.
  • Utilize company systems and extranets to manage claims efficiently and track progress.
  • Adhere to strict deadlines and ensure timely resolution of claims.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in insurance, with at least 3-5 years of experience specifically in property insurance claims management. Familiarity with industry conventions (IRSI, CIDECOP, CIDEPIEC, etc.) is highly advantageous.
