Your RoleAs Head of Contracts, you will be responsible for managing the team responsible for the delivery of contractual service agreements for large-scale offshore wind farm projects. You will define the contracting strategy, implement and supervise corrective and preventive maintenance activities, and lead the review, optimization, and negotiation of contracts.
Responsibilities and Functions- Develop and implement a contracting strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and partners, ensuring that the company's interests are protected.
- Lead the review and optimization of contracts to ensure that they are aligned with the company's needs and goals.
- Develop and implement processes for managing contracts, including reporting and control.
- Lead the O&M delivery of tender processes and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Develop and negotiate technical annexes, providing commercial guidance and support.
- Ensure alignment between different contracts to reduce contractual interface risk.
- Define and implement the organization structure for managing contracts.
- Identify and notify stakeholders of contractual or commercial risks and impacts.
- Manage claims, warranties, and variations with contractors.
- Provide commercial advice and recommendations to the business.
- Monitor and anticipate claims made by contractors and develop mitigation strategies.
- Analyze key risks in new contracts and provide recommendations for changes.
You have an Engineering Degree level qualification and significant experience in leading tendering processes, contract negotiations, and detailed commercial delivery contracts. You have proven ability to manage the negotiation of multi-contracts in competing timescales. You are flexible to travel regularly to attend meetings and work at different project sites in a number of countries throughout northern Europe.
