We are currently seeking a Digital Policy Specialist to join our team in the Science, Technology and Innovation Directorate (STI). The successful candidate will contribute to our work on digital policy challenges, including online safety, digital security, and children's well-being in the digital environment.

**Job Overview**

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in policy analysis, research, or front-line practice in areas such as children's rights, gender-based violence, or false and misleading content online. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience working in the field of online safety and well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct research and analysis on digital policy challenges, including online safety, digital security, and children's well-being in the digital environment.
  • Draft and review analytical reports, policy briefings, and presentations on these topics.
  • Identify and liaise with relevant experts, including carrying out interviews and organising meetings of experts, workshops, and seminars.
  • Assist the OECD in promoting awareness of our work on digital policy challenges to government, business, civil society, and academic stakeholders around the world.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • An advanced university degree in a relevant field, such as children's rights, computer science, gender studies, information integrity, law, international relations, psychology, or another social science.
  • Minimum five years' experience in policy analysis, research, or front-line practice in areas such as children's rights, gender-based violence, or false and misleading content online.
  • Experience working in the area of online safety and well-being.
  • Good knowledge of relevant OECD substantive work and a strategic sense of the current and potential role of the OECD in the overall framework of international co-operation and domestic policy formulation.

**Benefits**

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from 7,738 EUR per month, based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax. A thirteen-month fixed-term appointment with the possibility of renewal is offered.

This vacancy will be filled as soon as possible, and applications should reach us at the earliest opportunity. Please note that our Rules and Regulations stipulate that the mandatory retirement age is 67.
