Join NXP Semiconductors as a System Architect and contribute to the development of cutting-edge Systems-on-Chip (SoCs) for the Automotive, Edge, and Radar Processing business lines.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced System Architect to design and develop holistic system-level SoC platform architectures targeting specific product classes or developing technology solutions scalable across a wide range of product types and tiers.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver architecture specifications including detailed system-level use-case definitions, hardware/software partitioning, alignment with industry standards, and relevant key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with design and execution teams throughout the product development cycle to ensure successful deployment in commercial products.
- Develop specifications for internal and 3rd-party IP, participating in make vs. buy analysis, and selecting the right IP.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with at least 8-9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing or architecting complex SoCs in leading-edge process nodes with multiple independent compute environments.
- Expertise in coherent and non-coherent interconnect, DDR memories, interconnect/system memory QoS, power management, PCIe, networking, debug, boot, virtualization, machine-learning compute, or multimedia & pixel processing.
- Knowledge of ARM architecture specifications and ability to work at the system level, identifying optimal partitioning of solutions between hardware and software.
