MaiaSpace is a pioneering European space tech company dedicated to creating innovative and sustainable solutions for space exploration. We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our agile team and contribute to the development of our mini-launch vehicle, Colibri.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and numerical modeling of secondary structures, interfaces, and hardware implementation.
  • Manage the overall digital model of the Colibri product and ensure consistency across sub-assemblies.
  • Propose layouts in line with high-level technical requirements and best practices for space vehicle design.
  • Consider "design to cost" constraints, including cost, lead time, supply, and integration.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in General or Mechanical engineering with +5 years post-Baccalaureate experience.
  • At least 5 years' experience with direct involvement in CAD design of orbital platform layout.
  • CAD tools, particularly SolidWorks, to be autonomous in drawing.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and thermal design, wiring, and propulsion piping systems.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, with French fluency preferred.
