Amkor Technology is seeking an experienced Semiconductor Packaging Executive to drive growth in our Wafer Services Business Unit.

Job Description

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting Amkor's package technologies to new and existing customers. This will involve deploying the package portfolio with key customers to gain business, as well as driving year-over-year customer revenue growth within this business unit and within Amkor.

You will work closely with our advanced product development teams to transfer new packaging technologies to production, including supporting cost analysis, CapEx requirements, manufacturability assessments, and program management through final qualification and initial production ramp.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of semiconductor packaging design, materials, substrates, manufacturing methods, and various wafer bumping techniques. You must also have a deep understanding of future advanced packaging trends, including heterogeneous integration, Chiplets, HDFO, panel-based processing, IDM/OSAT capabilities, and previous experience in a customer-facing business role.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving customer revenue increases year over year and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is required, and approximately 15% domestic and 15% international travel may be necessary.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science with a minimum of 15 years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing or packaging.
  • Organized technical project management experience, preferably involving off-shore factories, and the ability to multiplex across numerous programs and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a heavily matrixed organization, with self-driven motivation and adaptability to overcome obstacles.
