About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Knowledge Officer to join our team at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris. As a key member of our Documentation and Research Centre, you will play a crucial role in preparing legal documents for publication in online databases in multiple languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit legal documents, including arbitral awards, procedural orders, and other documents, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support the Documentation and Research Centre in conducting research, collaborating with DRS staff, and staying up-to-date on ICC DRS internal practices and knowledge resources.
- Assist with the publication of academic texts and articles, including translation work and statistical reports.
- Train and assist DRS staff on confidentiality and publication of awards.
- Contribute to DRS projects and replace other team members in relevant tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Two years of experience in publishing and project administration, preferably in a legal or business context.
- A law degree is an advantage.
- Fluency in English, French, and Spanish is essential, with the ability to work in other languages an advantage.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint.
- Rigorous and attentive to details, with a strong sense of confidentiality and ability to manage priorities.
- Strong team spirit and commitment, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
