About the Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at Snaphunt. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using AWS
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment and testing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues
- Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure system visibility and troubleshooting capabilities
- Participate in capacity planning and system design consulting to ensure optimal system performance
- Develop and maintain sustainable systems and services through automation and uplift
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related discipline
- 3 to 5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Ability to program (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++ and JavaScript
- Experience with distributed storage technologies such as NFS, HDFS, Ceph, and Amazon S3, as well as dynamic resource management frameworks (Apache Mesos, Kubernetes, Yarn) ArgoCD would be great as well
- A proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
