Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 2D/Concept Artist to join our team at Homa. As a key member of our art department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D assets for one of our biggest arcade puzzle games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 2D concepts for in-game assets, including characters, environments, and assets.
  • Produce interface elements and icons that enhance gameplay while maintaining the game's UI aesthetic.
  • Collaborate with the art, design, and product teams to ensure cohesive art direction and style across all assets.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of art guides, ensuring consistency across all visual elements.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in video game production with at least 2 mobile titles shipped.
  • Proficiency in key tools for 2D game art, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and any relevant 2D art software.
  • Strong 2D skills, with experience in character design, environmental art, and composition.
  • Strong portfolio and experience showcasing your work in casual puzzle games.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a cross-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills to convey direction and effectively receive feedback.
  • Willingness to learn new software programs and tools as needed.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines.
