Position OverviewWe are on the lookout for a skilled Android Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess creativity and experience in developing applications for a vast user base, with a strong emphasis on native video playback, and will be dedicated to collaboratively enhancing features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop sophisticated applications for the Android ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to tailor the video experience specifically for the Android environment.
- Prioritize user experience, reliability, and usability.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
Required Qualifications:
- Profound understanding of the Android SDK
- Extensive experience with Kotlin, coroutines, and flows
- Familiarity with ExoPlayer
- Experience utilizing third-party libraries and APIs
- Strong background in MVI, MVVM, and Clean architecture
- Comprehensive knowledge of the complete mobile development lifecycle
- Effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced team environment.
- Self-driven to explore new technologies, applications, tools, and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Design System principles
- Experience in video streaming and buffering techniques
- Familiarity with JetPack Compose
- Background in UI/UX design, including pixel-perfect animations
