About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for setting up full supplier selection processes, deploying commodity strategies, and ensuring project execution aligns with Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical (QCDT) objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up full supplier selection processes, including preparing and launching Request for Quotations with suppliers
  • Lead project negotiations and monitor procurement project QCDT and legal project evolution
  • Ensure work package sheet commitment respect and prepare Business Awards
  • Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct
  • Coordinate projects with all departments and ensure on-time delivery and quality are secured, especially during the ramp-up phase

Commodity Strategy:

  • Consolidate commodity needs and inputs
  • Participate actively in commodity strategy and panel elaboration
  • Provide inputs to build differentiation and support the Commodity Manager in the tender phase
  • Represent commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions

Supplier Relationship Building:

  • Support global supplier panel relationship management
  • Manage specific supplier panel relationships, including negotiation, specific agreements, and local supplier QCDT performances
  • Measure supplier performance and develop them in coordination with the supplier Quality Team
  • Assess risky suppliers and manage associated mitigation plans
  • Monitor Corporate Social Responsibility engagements and deviations

Performance Measurements:

  • Savings in P&L and Cost to Complete
  • Non-Conformities Event and On-Time Delivery
  • Panel situation Supplier compliancy status rate
