Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities- Own all processes around withholding taxes, including daily reconciliation and settlement, to ensure flawless financial services.
- Provide detailed tax event analyses of our retail business to inform problem-solving, decision-making, and corrective action.
- Support the team in creating concepts to optimize processes related to capital gains tax, church tax, solidarity surcharge, and financial transaction taxes, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Perform annual tests of tax certificate calculations and prepare corresponding internal trainings for client-facing entities.
- Identify and communicate legislative changes and support the implementation of these changes to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Successful completion of a banking apprenticeship or a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent.
- Fundamental experience in securities services, brokerage, or asset management, with prior involvement in a bank's middle or back office being a plus.
- Knowledge of securities and banking processes, including taxation processes related to corporate actions, securities transfers, on-exchange trading, and interest payments.
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining high quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
