Real Estate Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Analyst to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating, structuring, and closing real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Paris team in evaluating and structuring real estate transactions
- Participate in the due diligence process and contribute to the analysis of value enhancement opportunities
- Review proposed acquisitions and sales to ensure defined criteria is met
- Develop pro forma financials on both a pre-tax and after-tax basis
- Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data
- Ensure pricing is appropriate within the context of the prevailing market
- Prepare Introduction and Investment Committees materials
- Review legal documents and other materials as part of the due diligence process
- Frequent property inspections
- Collaborate with Research teams to ensure target markets are considered when evaluating potential locations and themes for new investments
- Continually monitor conditions within local markets to have a framework from which to evaluate new investments
- Liaise with relevant colleagues and coordinate external service providers
- Active and efficient dialogue with Fund Managers about required investment products
- Proven experience and expertise in real estate markets and acquisitions
- Ability to build strong internal and external networks
- Understanding of complex investment fundamentals of each individual transaction and underlying sectors/assets
- Ability to work independently and as a team within an international environment
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Argus)
- University degree with a strong academic record and up to 3 years' experience preferably in a Real Estate Company or in a finance related sector
- Fluent in English & French (spoken & written)
- Experience in Valuation would be a plus
