Upgrade Our Java Code Base

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team at Yubo. As a leading social discovery platform, we are committed to building a safe digital space for our community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for upgrading our Java code base from Java 11 to the latest version (Java 17). This will involve making improvements to the solution if needed and ensuring that our codebase remains secure and efficient.

We are looking for a skilled Java developer with experience in the latest version of Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, Docker, and MongoDB. As part of your job, you will be working on tools that process personal data relating to Yubo users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upgrade our Java code base from Java 11 to Java 17
  • Make improvements to the solution if needed
  • Work on tools that process personal data relating to Yubo users

Requirements:

  • Experience in Java (with experience on the latest version)
  • Experience in Spring Boot, Gradle, Docker, and MongoDB
  • Strong awareness and understanding of privacy issues
