Role Overview: As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for shaping the global contracting strategy and facilitating the execution of essential start-up contracting activities tailored to specific sponsor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of investigator grants, contracting strategies, and proposal narratives to enhance the proposal development process.
- Craft and refine contract language, payment terms, and budget templates as necessary for the role.
- Utilize and uphold contracting systems, tools, and training materials in alignment with the Scope of Work and Project Plan, ensuring adherence to the established project strategy.
- Foster collaboration through effective communication with sponsors, stakeholders, and relevant regions to ensure successful project delivery in accordance with sponsor requirements.
- Provide expert legal, operational, and financial contracting support to Study Teams, facilitating efficient business development and clinical trial management while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the creation and review of essential scientific, technical, and administrative documentation to support business development and study initiation.
- Contribute to the collection and analysis of contracting intelligence to support assigned studies and the broader organization.
- Ensure contracting efficiency and compliance with project timelines and financial objectives.
- Report on contracting performance metrics and any out-of-scope activities as necessary.
- Collaborate with Quality Management to uphold contract management and quality standards, while mentoring colleagues and delivering training materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sponsor or clinical research organization contracting, with proven global or regional contract negotiation experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and email applications.
- Solid understanding of clinical trial contract management.
- Ability to propose alternative contracting language, terms, and financial arrangements.
- Skilled in utilizing metrics to communicate with study teams and establish timelines for deliverables.
