Enterprise Risk Governance Lead

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Enterprise Risk Governance Lead to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance Team at newcleo Ltd. This role will be responsible for supporting the Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance in delivering and embedding the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework throughout the newcleo organisation.

Main Activities

  • Support the HoGRC with ongoing responsibilities related to group and subsidiary risk assignments
  • Develop a risk management Community of Practice with identified risk champions across the Group
  • Provide risk management training and workshops through the group and subsidiaries working with the HoGRC and the established risk champions network
  • Work with the HoGRC to deliver enterprise risk workshops at Group level and provide support to subsidiaries in the delivery of risk workshops
  • Tailor the risk reporting to the different stakeholders' needs (e.g. the Audit and Risk Committee, the HoGRC, the business at large) based on the established risk appetite
  • Give quantitative advice to programmes informing schedule and cost risk contingency
  • Ensure risk mitigation action plans are developed and risk and action owners are appointed across the risk registers of the Subsidiaries
  • Maintain the overall health quality of the ERM register data
  • Continuously monitor the risk control environment for effectiveness as a control and identify opportunities for continual improvement, working in partnership with the Group Audit and Compliance Manager
  • Support the development and implementation of Group Crisis Management planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as finance, risk management, or business administration)
  • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Manager, Certified Internal Auditor) is a plus
