The role involves overseeing the Operations investment project portfolio of the organization, including Sustainability initiatives, and leading the operations investment committee. You will ensure that project economics are developed, scrutinized, and presented in line with Group standards, while also tracking project delivery and portfolio returns against expectations. Additionally, you will periodically provide financial data for accounting and reporting purposes. Continuous improvement of Economic Evaluation standards is also a key responsibility, alongside fostering financial acumen throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to the investment process, maintaining compliance with established rules and deliverables. This includes providing training and resources to various stakeholders (Sponsors, Project Leaders, Project Teams). Participate in the evaluation of investment proposals (Compliance, Process Safety, Performance, Cybersecurity, etc.), becoming an integral part of project teams. Lead and coordinate the Operations and Sustainability Investment Committees in collaboration with the head of the investment committee, serving as a key contact for site representatives, Operations and Sustainability function heads, and CFOs regarding their investment projects (project planning, economic assessments, financial oversight). Ensure the quality of economic analyses for investment projects. Assess the financial performance of diverse projects within the Operations and Sustainability domain, which may involve significant technical complexity, ensuring the relevance of analyses by leveraging the expertise of engineers and management controllers, and presenting information clearly and concisely. Contribute to investment decisions and trade-offs within the portfolio. Monitor, optimize, and manage the investment project portfolio concerning costs, timelines, and profitability. Oversee the budgeting process and the Medium-Term Plan for your area, actively proposing initiatives during the planning phase. Act as a champion for cash culture within the organization.What We Value in You:
You possess the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong communication skills, persuasive capabilities, decision-making aptitude, and the ability to synthesize information effectively.
You also have a solid understanding of the Investment Process, financial techniques for economic studies, Project Management, and Portfolio Management.
Furthermore, you bring experience in cash culture.
Additional Qualifications:
