Senior Audiovisual Systems Specialist

Job Summary

As a Senior Audiovisual Systems Specialist at Encore Global, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual systems in a dynamic event environment. Your primary goal will be to ensure the complete satisfaction of our clients through exceptional technical support and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance
    • Assist in testing, maintaining, preparing, and repairing equipment before events.
    • Ensure flawless event execution through precise and timely installation, operation, and troubleshooting of basic audiovisual equipment.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly when they arise.
    • Comply with all company safety and security measures.
    • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and respect health and safety rules.
    • Report any health and safety issues to the Health and Safety Manager or Site Manager.
    • Occasionally work in teams on larger projects.
  • Client Service
    • Deliver exceptional service – Exceed client expectations and needs.
    • Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.
    • Meet with clients on-site to ensure their needs are met and equipment is functioning correctly.
    • Monitor events and check in with clients throughout the day.
    • Understand and promote the relationship between the hotel, site, and client.
  • Technical Skills
    • Understand technical aspects of the job and demonstrate basic operational ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues.
    • Manage equipment and software problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • System Knowledge
    • Make informed choices – Understand company processes, follow procedures, and accurately enter data into systems.
    • Use equipment lists to determine equipment needed for installations and removals. Interact with other staff members and external suppliers for equipment.
    • Increase revenue by using sales techniques on the floor.

Professional Competencies

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Three years of experience in audiovisual or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
