Your Role
SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is actively seeking an ICSS Supervisor to enhance its team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the planning team for job preparation within your discipline.
- Support specialists engaged in Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC).
- Ensure compliance with the COMPANY's HSE regulations, particularly regarding work permits and approved operational procedures during maintenance tasks.
- Document intervention reports in the CMMS, including those related to SMC, and prepare technical reports pertinent to your area of expertise.
- Oversee the performance of utilities and equipment systems under your supervision.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting for ICSS and PLC systems.
- Monitor parameter values and alarms in relevant systems for condition monitoring.
- Execute interventions as requested by the CSR within your area of expertise.
Improvement Initiatives
- Recommend actions to enhance the performance and reliability of control systems.
- Alert support teams regarding recurring issues with spare parts availability or quality.
- Ensure that software modifications and corrective actions align with functional analysis.
- Maintain up-to-date control system documentation.
Quality Assurance
- Regularly verify the quality of your planning through frequent reviews of supervisor reports in CMMS.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years' study) or Higher National Diploma/Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years' study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in control systems, with at least 3 years as a specialist in the petrochemical sector.
- Knowledge of principles related to oil and gas treatment processes and equipment.
- Proficient in CMMS.
- Ability to collaborate within a large multinational team.
- Capacity to work independently while fostering positive relationships with colleagues.
- Physically fit to operate on offshore installations under site-specific climatic conditions.
- Proven sense of responsibility and management aptitude.
- Methodical and rigorous approach to operations, with strong analytical skills.
- Preferred experience in Subsea control systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of system architecture and networks.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, including Allen Bradley, Siemens, ladder logic, and associated communication interfaces and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), as well as Machine Monitoring Systems (Bentley Nevada) including GE System 1.
- Experience with fire and gas monitoring systems.
