The Role: Bridge and Underground Structure Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Bridge and Underground Structure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team based in Guyancourt. Reporting directly to the Head of Bridges and Underground Structures, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of various infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of calculation notes and plans submitted for bridge and underground structure projects.
- Perform detailed verification and modeling calculations using finite element analysis software.
- Actively participate in technical meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
- Provide expert technical oversight throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background with proven experience in bridge/tunnel/underground structure verification. A degree from a reputable engineering school, CHEBAP, or specialized Master's program is essential.
You should have a comprehensive understanding of finite element modeling software and be familiar with relevant regulations and standards governing bridge/tunnel/underground structures. Proficiency in English is advantageous for international projects.
Furthermore, we seek candidates who demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, autonomy, precision, methodical approach, and a collaborative team spirit.
