Apollo Aerospace, a global distributor of Aerospace hardware, fasteners, electrical and miscellaneous components, is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our team. As the Aerospace arm of Supply Technologies, Park-Ohio Holdings Corp (NASDAQ: PKOH), we're a high performing and growing supplier to major Aerospace manufacturers.
Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to manage the financial operations across our European locations, including the UK, France, Spain, and Poland. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, including period-end closing, VAT returns, and supporting local audits.
Responsibilities:- Manage financial operations for our European locations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Oversee day-to-day finance activities, including period-end closing, VAT returns, and supporting local audits.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis for the European branches and entities.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and manage transfer pricing between European branches and entities.
- Lead and support a small team of UK-based finance assistants, providing guidance and ensuring their professional development.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller and other departments to drive financial efficiency and accuracy across the organization.
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, particularly in a European context.
- Strong working knowledge of European VAT, Duty, and transfer pricing regulations.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Excel.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of European financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership and team management.
