The Institut Curie is a leading research center in cancer biology and immunology. We are seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer to join our team in the Department of Immunology.
Job Description:The successful candidate will work on the interactions between macrophages and viruses, with a focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of viral infection and the role of myeloid cells in the tumor microenvironment.
The engineer will be responsible for:
- Culturing of cell lines and primary cells
- Cell biology, fluorescence microscopy, and FACS
- Molecular biology: cloning and production of viral vectors
- Biochemistry: western blotting and immunoprecipitations
- Laboratory management and coordination with other teams on the floor
- Data analysis and presentation at lab meetings
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a Master's or PhD in Immunology and/or Oncology. The ideal candidate will have strong self-organization skills, motivation for teamwork and multitasking, and proficiency in English (B1 level).
