Position Overview
The Department of Planning at Cholet, Ville et Agglomération plays a vital role in shaping the future of our community. We are responsible for overseeing key areas such as agriculture, land use rights, heritage preservation, and urban development, serving both the City of Cholet and the Choletais Agglomeration.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Urban Planning Project Manager to lead the development of our Intercommunal Urban Planning Scheme (PLUi-H). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and sustainability of our region.
Responsibilities:- Provide expert guidance and leadership in the implementation of the PLUi-H, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Effectively manage a multidisciplinary team of professionals, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders, including municipal representatives, community members, and technical experts, to gather input, address concerns, and build consensus.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, public consultations, and other engagement activities to ensure transparency and inclusivity in the planning process.
- Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in urban planning, incorporating innovative solutions into our projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or a related field.
- Proven experience in urban planning, with a demonstrated understanding of relevant regulations and policies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
This position may require occasional evening meetings and field visits.
