Join Our Team as a Cloud DevOps Engineer

Ansys is a leading provider of engineering simulation software, and we're seeking a talented Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping us develop and maintain our industry-leading simulation software.

Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside software developers to design, implement, and verify our software
  • Research and apply emerging technologies and open-source solutions to improve our software
  • Engage in a continuous delivery DevOps process for release management and feature deployment
  • Develop prototypes or test new solution strategies or algorithms
  • Work with documentation teams to deliver end-user resources
  • Investigate bugs in production code
  • Develop unit and regression tests
  • Analyze results and communicate findings using visualization software
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical degree with significant programming and/or DevOps experience
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program in France (French candidates should be fluent in English, international candidates should be studying at a French higher education institution, but the knowledge of French is not a requirement for this internship)
  • Software development experience ideally using Python
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IDE experience
  • Cloud computing experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • RPC or HTTP Remote API Experience
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with cloud observability tools is a big plus
