Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dedicated Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, updating information as needed.
  • Handle correspondence related to payroll inquiries and issues.
  • Manage family supplements and process sickness and unemployment benefits.
  • Issue employer certificates and other required documentation.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a payroll administration role within a healthcare or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, public sector accounting, and budgeting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
