As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of laundry equipment. Your role will involve:

  • Overseeing and executing maintenance tasks for laundry machinery
  • Collaborating with external service providers for maintenance operations
  • Identifying and diagnosing equipment issues
  • Conducting routine inspections and basic repairs
  • Recognizing and addressing malfunctions and irregularities
  • Implementing preventive maintenance strategies
  • Documenting maintenance activities through weekly reports
  • Preparing detailed intervention reports for management
  • Utilizing maintenance management software for external service coordination
  • Operating various industrial systems including mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrotechnics, and automation
  • Handling administrative responsibilities associated with maintenance
  • Maintaining an inventory of spare parts
  • Managing budgets related to maintenance and outsourcing
  • Ensuring compliance with mandatory preventive maintenance schedules

Work Schedule:

  • Standard hours: 6 am - 5 pm
  • Occasional weekend or after-hours interventions may be required

Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Vocational Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent
  • Proven experience in similar maintenance roles

Required Skills:

  • Understanding of production and logistics management
  • Proficiency in using computer applications
  • Technical expertise in laundry machinery (including ironing equipment, folders, and industrial automation)
  • Knowledge of hygiene and environmental standards relevant to laundry operations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RABC)
  • Familiarity with laundry processing techniques
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and develop corrective action plans
