JCDecaux is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Control Assistant to join our dynamic Finance team in France.

Reporting directly to the Business Control Manager responsible for Group and France Information Systems, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to various financial control functions within a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Supporting the preparation of financial closures by calculating provisions accurately.
  • Managing and overseeing supplier orders for the French IT Department, ensuring timely procurement and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Effectively managing and monitoring supplier invoices for the French IT Department, verifying accuracy and facilitating prompt payment.
  • Reconciling accounting data with operational budget tracking information, identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions.
  • Actively participating in budget monitoring activities, including tracking actual expenditures, analyzing variances, and providing insightful latest estimates.
  • Managing and overseeing the invoicing process for the French IT Department to other group entities, ensuring accurate billing and timely collection.
  • Contributing to the improvement of financial tools and reporting processes, enhancing efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses on external services, supplier billing, and other relevant areas, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • A strong academic background in Financial Control or Business Management from a reputable business school or university.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks.
  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset, eager to learn and contribute to the team's success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of operational English.
