Operational Risk Management Role

At Qonto, we're seeking an experienced Operational Risk Management Specialist to lead and scale our risk management practices across 4 European markets. As a key member of our Risk department, you'll be responsible for identifying operational risks, defining processes and actions to mitigate these risks, and ensuring business resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operational Risk Identification and Analysis: Review and maintain the risk map to ensure accurate risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  2. Project Management: Implement and manage key projects, such as DORA compliance, incident management framework, and partner quality monitoring.
  3. Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain a risk monitoring and reporting framework to ensure all risk indicators are up-to-date.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Act as an advisor and reviewer for new product features to ensure proper risk identification and safeguard design.
  5. Risk Reduction and Business Continuity: Lead risk-reduction projects, including business continuity plans, to ensure the organization's resilience.

Requirements:
  1. Education: Diploma with a specialization in Banking, Insurance, or Risk Management.
  2. Experience: At least 4 years of experience in operational risk management or internal control within financial, payment, or banking institutions.
  3. Language: Fluency in English; French is a plus.
  4. Expertise: Incident management, fraud detection, process management, and familiarity with financial regulations, particularly DORA.
  5. Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to present findings to any audience.
