Role Overview:The Product Control department is responsible for overseeing post-trade control processes related to gas trading activities. This includes:
- Ensuring alignment between contractual terms and bookings;
- Managing the lifecycle of contracts, including invoicing and counterparties;
- Acting as the primary contact for various stakeholders including regulatory and financial authorities.
- Oversee contracts associated with gas sourcing, transport capacity, and storage, ensuring a thorough understanding of contract details and their implications on accounting;
- Validate daily deals related to your contracts;
- Conduct regular analyses of contract data, including pricing and delivery points;
- Manage CFFO, monitor transfer pricing, and oversee OPEX transactions;
- Maintain relationships with authorities regarding tax, legal, and customs matters;
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, including complex optional terms;
- Handle disputes with counterparties, collaborating with internal stakeholders;
- Support front office, sales, and legal teams during deal origination and renegotiation;
- Generate analytical reports for audits and regulatory requests;
- Track and produce relevant KPIs and dashboards for contract management;
- Collaborate with IT teams for system enhancements and digitalization efforts.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a practical approach;
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Power BI;
- Familiarity with coding languages like DATAIKU and SQL is advantageous;
- Comprehensive understanding of the financial value chain and accounting principles;
- Knowledge of gas trading strategies is a plus;
- Ability to analyze large data sets using IT tools;
- Capability to optimize processes and engage with IT for system improvements.

- Experience in Back Office or contract management, preferably in the energy sector;
- A degree in applied economics, finance, accounting, or equivalent professional experience;
- Relevant experience in market finance.
Fluency in English and French is required.
