Operational Excellence in a Dynamic Environment
SUEZ is seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Operations Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities, contributing to the safe and sustainable management of resources.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimal performance of facility equipment throughout your shift by monitoring operations and streamlining material flow within the ovens.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installations, promptly reporting any irregularities or anomalies (unusual sounds, leaks, odors, levels, etc.) to the Operations Manager.
- Expertly operate incineration lines, encompassing start-up procedures, normal operation, shutdown protocols, and more.
- Utilize the overhead crane to facilitate waste unloading into designated pits. Ensure proper homogenization of waste, monitor its quality, and load furnace hoppers with precision.
- Provide accurate updates on product and residue stock levels. Execute clearing, unloading, or loading operations as required.
- Execute planned maintenance tasks, particularly those related to ancillary processes such as fume treatment, water production, and effluent treatment.
- Maintain a consistently clean and organized work environment, even during construction phases.
- Meticulously record events in the shift logbook and document intervention requests within the CMMS system.
- Warmly welcome service providers for loading and unloading by-products, actively participating in these operations when necessary.
- Effectively manage vehicle flow within the facility to prioritize access to loading docks.
Your Qualifications:
A strong foundation in industrial processes is essential. We seek candidates with qualifications such as a DUT in Thermal Engineering, BTS in Process Management, BTS in Fluids, Energy, Home Automation (with an HVAC and Fluidics option), BTS in Technical Assistance of Engineers, BTS in Industrial Control and Automatic Regulation, Vocational Baccalaureate in Chemistry or Water Processes, STL (Laboratory Science and Technology), or STI2D (Industrial Science and Sustainable Development).
