Position Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer and Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating CNC lathes with precision.
- Assembling tools according to specified guidelines.
- Loading and executing existing machining programs.
- Conducting initial quality checks at the start of production.
- Maintaining accurate documentation related to quality control and production metrics.
- Producing small batches while performing self-inspections.
- Modifying programs and optimizing machining parameters.
- Programming simple components or those similar to existing designs.
- Demonstrating independence in creating programs directly on the machine interface.
- Exhibiting autonomy in setting up new production runs on CNC lathes.
The successful applicant should possess knowledge in the following areas:
- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Utilizing precision measurement tools.
- Understanding tool technology, including cutting parameters and tool design.
- Applying basic trigonometric principles.
- Operating MAZAK machines, particularly with Mazatrol conversational programming.
