Position: Registered Nurse in Rheumatology M/F
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse M/F for a full-time, fixed-term position within our Rheumatology unit.
This unit is equipped with 32 beds, including:
- 16 dedicated to Rheumatology
- 16 for UGA patients
You will be part of a diverse medical and paramedical team, which includes geriatricians, rheumatologists, interns, externs, psychiatrists, psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, social workers, occupational therapists, EMSP, HAD, and stoma therapists.
Reporting to a health manager, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of patient care activities, including:
- Executing both simple and complex dressings, managing chronic wounds (such as ulcers and bedsores), and conducting VAC therapy.
- Offering education and support to patients with stomas and chronic conditions.
- Managing peripheral and central vascular access.
- Assessing and addressing pain management and analgesic therapies.
- Evaluating and managing issues related to malnutrition and dehydration.
- Preparing and monitoring patients before and after various medical procedures, examinations, and operations.
- Providing compassionate end-of-life care.
- Engaging in reflective practice and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Collaborating on personalized care plans.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid nursing degree.
