Position: Sustainability Executive
Location: High Wycombe, UK OR Rueil Malmaison, France
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Type: Fixed Term (9 – 12 Months)

Your Role
As a Sustainability Executive, you will report directly to the Head of Sustainability and Affairs. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in executing the strategic plan that aligns with our global sustainability initiatives, focusing on accelerating growth in Europe. This includes developing metrics related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote sustainability initiatives internally and externally throughout Europe.
  • Collaborate with the Global Sustainability team to advance the global agenda in the European market.
  • Engage with third-party providers to establish corporate affairs and communication strategies for Europe.
  • Foster an active community across Europe to educate, share insights, and drive innovation in sustainable practices.
  • Disseminate sustainable practices across all brands within the organization.
  • Support all sustainability-related submissions while partnering closely with internal teams.
  • Lead the execution of the organization’s sustainability objectives to enhance goodwill and positive media coverage.
  • Monitor and manage compliance with legislation concerning environmental and social issues, as well as ESG disclosure requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure alignment on sustainability goals that exceed expectations.
  • Work with the Marketing Community to integrate sustainability initiatives into brand strategies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
  • Support commercial teams in creating an environment that promotes excellence and continuous learning in sustainability.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that sustainability initiatives are integrated throughout the organization.

Qualifications:
We seek a candidate with a strong background in sustainability, preferably within the consumer goods sector. Your experience is important, but we also value passion for creating meaningful products.

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated passion and expertise in sustainability.
  • Experience in planning and advocating for sustainability initiatives with knowledge of current best practices.
  • Familiarity with EU customer collaboration.
  • A curious mindset, willing to challenge norms and explore new possibilities in sustainability.
  • Ability to analyze data and extract insights to inform future strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
