Job Description: Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the B2B market.

  • Prospect Identification & Qualification: Utilize available resources to research and identify potential clients within the construction and renovation industry.
  • Outbound Communication: Engage with prospective clients through phone calls, utilizing a consultative approach to understand their needs and present Howdens' solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies, fostering trust and establishing Howdens as a preferred partner.
  • Lead Generation & Nurturing: Manage a pipeline of leads, qualifying prospects and progressing them through the sales cycle.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sales team to schedule appointments and provide valuable insights on potential clients.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.

Profile:

We are looking for a driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proven track record in sales or business development is highly desirable. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
