Senior Technical Project Manager

Red Hat is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team in Puteaux, France. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for managing services projects from initiation to delivery and closure. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating cross-functional teams, establishing project metrics, and monitoring project economics.
Key Responsibilities:- Guide project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities for Red Hat's services projects.
- Handle project requirements, scope, and change management issues.
- Facilitate the development of project control solutions for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects.
- Work with management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
- Staff projects with relevant consultants and architects.
- Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on project activities.
- Establish project metrics and develop project control and reporting procedures.
- Participate in status review meetings with project team members and customers.
- Ensure timely submission of weekly timesheets and timecards.
- Highly motivated with solid experience in project management, managing IT-based projects.
- Record of successfully managing complex projects and multicultural or multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid background in cloud technologies, middleware, and open source.
- Experience establishing and contributing to process improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills and business judgment.
- Ability to work effectively across a diverse management team and a broad spectrum of internal partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high attention to detail.
- Good balance of business and technical experience.
- Ability to communicate the project management value proposition.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
- PMI and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications or equivalent are a plus.
