About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Patient Health Platform domain at Doctolib. As a technical leader and people manager, you will be responsible for coaching and training your team members while building an amazing engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the engineering team responsible for enhancing the booking experience for patients, with over 300 million appointments expected to be booked this year.
  2. Empower your team to build better products, playing a pivotal role in the improvement of one of France's most downloaded apps.
  3. Set the roadmap for your team, and be the end-to-end owner of the team's production, quality, and delivery.
  4. Participate in code reviews and be hands-on if required.
  5. Lead cross-functional initiatives to up-level our engineering team.
  6. Partner with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop, and retain talent.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of people management experience with an engineering team.
  2. Eager to be hands-on with our stack: we use Typescript (React and React Native), Ruby on Rails, and Java.
  3. Understanding of the value of testing your code.
  4. Ability to adapt to the most efficient technologies to solve issues.
  5. Proven experiences developing efficient, maintainable, and secure products.
  6. Comfortable speaking English in your day-to-day with the team.
