Job Responsibilities

  • Manage Level 1-2 tickets and troubleshoot complex technical issues and their root causes.
  • Assess and resolve more complex issues requiring greater specialization, providing solutions covering the full product portfolio.
  • Manage escalations to Level-3 support as necessary, including collaborations with Google's GDCH support team.
  • Proactively collect requirements and design team processes and work streams to address specific temporary support program needs.
  • Design systems, including integration with multiple other systems.
  • Identify large technical problems in existing systems and propose multiple possible solutions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of platform offerings and architecture to advise customers on best practices and assist them with optimizing their cloud architecture.
  • Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert between Proximus Luxembourg and Google to resolve technical customer obstacles.

Requirements

  • You must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job.
  • 5 years of experience in working with computer systems and computer networks, specifically with the Linux operating system.
  • Any security clearances required by the country or countries you are supporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Having these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable.
  • Experience with support work.
  • Experience working directly in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in troubleshooting OS, network equipment, and software.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware or network-related issues using Linux-based tools.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Kubernetes production environments.
  • Industry-accredited Certification on Cloud technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud services like Compute and Storage.
  • Experience with Storage technologies.
