About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our team at Institut Curie, a leading research center in the fight against cancer. As a Research Engineer, you will play a key role in developing basic research and translating knowledge into improved cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct large-scale omics data analysis using bioinformatic tools (R- and Python-)
  • Work in a Linux environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and apply gene regulatory network analysis and spatial transcriptomic data analysis
  • Contribute to the development of basic research and translational cancer research projects
Requirements
  • PhD or Engineer diploma in bioinformatics
  • Knowledge in cancer biology and experience in RNA seq data analysis (Bulk and single cell) and whole exome data analysis
  • Excellent analytical and synthetic capabilities, with a strong focus on scientific rigor
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently as part of a team
