The Role

We are seeking a talented and innovative CPU micro-architect to join our team in Sophia Antipolis. As a key member of our CPU team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge CPU micro-architecture and RTL design.

About the Job

As a micro-architect and RTL design engineer, you will work closely with our performance modelling, verification, and implementation teams to deliver leading products from Arm's Cortex CPU family. You will be involved in the definition of micro-architecture and RTL implementation, and will have ownership of your work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CPU micro-architecture and RTL design
  • Collaborate with performance modelling, verification, and implementation teams
  • Work on real project tasks with the help and mentorship of experienced engineers
  • Develop into an expert in the field through teamwork, training, and dedication to personal development

Requirements

  • University or engineering school degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or related science
  • Engineering mindset and passion for CPU micro-architecture and digital design
  • Understanding of computer architecture and micro-architecture concepts
  • Familiarity with hardware description languages (VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog skills)
