About the Job
You will join our Digital Transformation Pole, a team of experts in database management, responsible for accompanying our clients.
You will be detached to a major player in the Insurance sector, within a team of experts in database management.
In the context of the evolution of its information system, our client needs to strengthen its skills in database administration, particularly in the areas of database management, automation of requests related to databases, and system monitoring (Linux/Windows).
Your Missions
- Ensure the administration and management of SQL Server, Maria DB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Ensure the management of problems, incidents, requests, and evolutions on the entire database perimeter.
- Be a driving force for the evolutions to be carried out on the entire database perimeter.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to automate processes.
- Analyze and automate treatments related to ongoing Technical Pole projects.
- Write exploitation reports related to databases.
Expected Deliverables
- Detailed documentation of operational best practices.
- Exploitation reports, user procedures, good practice rules, etc.
- Developments/scripts allowing the automation of tasks or treatments.
- Tuning of database configurations.
- Reporting related to database usage controls (response time controls, indexing, and volume).
Requirements
- You hold a Bac+5 degree (Engineering School, University, or equivalent) in computer science.
- You have significant experience within a Production Database team at the scale of a large group's IT system.
- You are a good communicator and have proven analysis and synthesis skills.
Required Skills/Knowledge
- Expertise: Development and administration of databases in various technical environments (SQL Server, Maria DB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows systems.
- Knowledge: Ansible, Python, Linux, RedHat, SH script.
- Master of office tools.
- Ideally, knowledge of storage and virtualization.
- Fluent English is required.
