The Service department, responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of Vestas wind turbines across France, is seeking a Dispatcher to oversee maintenance operations.

As part of the Service Operation Support team, the Dispatcher will collaborate closely with the operations manager and technical teams. Your role will involve planning maintenance activities in accordance with established processes to ensure safety, quality during operations, and optimal turbine performance in line with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the guidance of the planning team leader, the Dispatcher will be tasked with:
  • Creating a detailed 3-week schedule for short-term planning.
  • Developing and refining a 12-week schedule for medium-term planning.
  • Establishing and optimizing the workload throughout the year for long-term planning.
  • Enhancing operational efficiency by prioritizing and grouping tasks effectively.
  • Proactively identifying and requesting support based on load plan analysis.
  • Verifying the availability of necessary tools and materials.
  • Issuing purchase orders as required.
  • Assigning mission orders to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensuring that work orders are completed by Field Technicians to minimize pending tasks.
  • Monitoring planning performance indicators and addressing deviations promptly.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on safety throughout all activities.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a 2-year study program or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken (minimum B1 level of the European framework).
  • Experience in an industrial setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP or Salesforce is a plus.
Competencies:
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective priority management.
  • Demonstrated autonomy and excellent communication skills.
