Job Purpose: To lead and conduct independent evaluations of IT systems, projects, and processes across various Group entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee or assist in up to 8 Internal Audit engagements annually across the AXA Group.
- Share knowledge and experience with the AXA IT Audit community by developing and maintaining IT Audit work programs and tools.
- All activities must comply with international auditing standards and AXA regulations, subject to rigorous reviews during external Quality Assessments and by the French regulator (ACPR).
- Flexibility is essential to manage schedules with Internal Audit teams across the Group, as the Central audit team serves as a center of expertise.
Audit Delivery
- Lead the definition, planning, organization, management, and execution of IT audits, including simple assignments and portions of complex audits independently.
- Guide junior auditors during audit engagements.
- Responsible for reporting findings and formalizing value-added recommendations.
- Accountable for tracking past recommendations.
- Act as a collaborative partner with issue owners to help mitigate risks using a risk-based approach.
- Lead or assist in the development and maintenance of IT audit work programs and tools.
- Participate in internal projects that benefit the global pool of IT auditors.
- Share expertise and experience with the IT Audit community.
- Demonstrated strong expertise in one or more of the following areas: IT audit, data governance/management, data analytics, IT project/change management, business continuity, Solvency II.
- Familiarity with standard IT audit methodologies, frameworks, and tools is advantageous.
- Analytical mindset with a rigorous approach and strong perseverance.
- Ability to anticipate risks and take initiative, adaptable to unforeseen changes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high degree of autonomy.
- Open-minded and dynamic, capable of working within a multicultural team.
- Engineering background with a minimum of 3 years of IT audit experience or at least 5 years of IT operational experience.
- Passionate about technology.
- Proficient in IT auditing across various domains, with the ability to manage reasonably complex audits in different IT areas.
- Prior IT audit experience in an audit firm is a significant advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CGEIT, CRISC, and GSNA are a plus.
