About the RoleWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Risk Analyst to join our Global Risk Management department. As an Investment Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing an independent view of the company's risks across all investment teams and entities. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and managing Investment Risks, including Market Risk, Credit and Counterparty Risk, Liquidity Risk, Performance Risk, and Pricing and Valuation Risk.
Key Responsibilities- Assess new strategies and investment products from a market/credit risk, liquidity risk, and valuation risk standpoint.
- Define investment guidelines and analyze remediation plans in regards to potential breaches.
- Enhance AXA IM risk frameworks, including coverage, indicators, stress testing, monitoring, and risk reporting.
- Provide regular summaries to senior management on portfolio risk positioning and risk oversight process effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 years or more experience in risk or portfolio management functions, preferably in Investment Banking or Asset Management.
- Strong IT background, with the ability to construct own monitoring/reporting tools and enhance existing tools (VBA, Python, Access/SQL).
- Fluent English language skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to senior management and risk committees.
