Job Title: Global Fleet Supervisor

At ENGIE Group, we are committed to accelerating the development of renewable energy assets. Our diverse team of over 4,000 employees represents more than 50 nationalities across 20 countries. We manage a portfolio of assets including Solar (ca. 8 GW), Wind (ca. 16 GW), Hydro (ca. 18 GW), and Battery Storage (< 1 GW) assets, across 4 Operational Areas. Our ambition is to operate 80 GW of renewable capacity by 2030.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor the global renewable fleet in real-time from the Global Hypervision Center.
  2. Ensure early detection and follow-up of critical and high-risk assets.
  3. Complete daily monitoring duties, consult operations logs, reports, and dedicated analytical platforms.
  4. Prepare business warnings and alerts for regional, local, and central teams.
  5. Create and manage operational performance reporting, ranging from daily to monthly, for various audiences.
  6. Perform trending analysis and assist in global benchmarking of technologies or performance/failure trends.
  7. Maintain continual communication with Operational Area's performance monitoring centers/teams and transversal support teams across different countries, cultures, and languages.
  8. Facilitate data deep dives with multi-disciplinary teams for detailed troubleshooting, problem identification, solving, and validation.
  9. Test and validate AI and machine learning methodologies for advanced analytics on global datasets.
Requirements:
  1. University degree; Master's desirable.
  2. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a real-time operations or data analysis environment, preferably in the electricity sector (generation, transmission, or distribution). Knowledge of hydro, wind, solar generation, and battery storage systems is a plus.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese is highly desirable.
  4. Ability to identify and understand critical events in complex and dense multivariable environments, and resolve complex issues effectively.
  5. Strong capabilities in problem-solving and decision-making.
  6. Familiarity with software programs necessary for day-to-day operations, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI) and data analytics environments.
  7. Diplomatic, team player, sociable, and independent with a strong passion for renewable energies and energy efficiency.
  8. Strong attention to detail and results-oriented with good reporting skills.
  9. Must comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.
  10. Ability to use company computer systems with Microsoft Suite and SCADA systems.
  11. Ability to act as relief during planned or unexpected absences of colleague supervisors.
