Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead. As a key member of our engineering squad, you'll be responsible for helping build the whole product and underlying tech, working closely with the CTO and the rest of the team.

  • Contribute to architecture decisions to ensure a robust and scalable product while maintaining a great pace of delivery.
  • Lead an engineering squad of 5 and help build and scale the product, team, and underlying tech while ensuring good practices.
  • Contribute to the team's continuous improvement with new ideas, processes, and tools.
  • Build a robust and scalable micro-service architecture to handle requests, invoices, and payments, and create smart automations and integrations to other tools.
  • Conceive and implement complex features like a dynamic form builder, workflows engine, budget, and analytics.
  • Leverage AI to boost our users' productivity.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Fluent in English - it's our business language.
  • Proactive, able to prioritize, and willing to thrive in our rapidly growing startup environment and contribute energetically to our collective success.
  • Pays close attention to details, an excellent listener, and a valuable team member.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Java Spring Boot, or Kotlin / Scala / C# / Go / Python).
  • End-to-end understanding of backend systems (database, authentication, API, security, performance...).
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architectures.
  • Rigorous about best practices (e.g., technical design, testing, code reviews, documentation, maintenance...).
