Renewable Energy Origination Manager

Job Summary
ABO Wind is seeking a highly skilled Origination Manager to join our dynamic PPA department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive the energy transition in France.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the French route-to-market strategy, in collaboration with the French finance team.
- Conclude Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with utilities and corporates in France.
- Design and conceptualize PPAs, including route to market, commercial contract terms, and sleeving.
- Identify and build relationships with utilities, corporates, aggregators, PPA service providers, and traders in France.
- Participate in French PPA tenders.
- Sign aggregation contracts for our subsidized projects.
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience in the field of power procurement/trading/PPA origination.
- Understanding of French policy and market framework for renewables and their route to market.
- Existing or building up a network of contacts to utilities, traders, corporates in France.
- Fluency in French and English, German is a benefit but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently, be solution-oriented, and have a practical approach to work.
- Willingness to travel within France and abroad.
- Optionally, experience with concluded PPAs in France or other European markets.
