Job Title: Senior Non-Life Pricing Actuary - France

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Non-Life Pricing Actuary to join our team in France. As a key member of our Corporate Underwriting Department, you will be responsible for modeling incoming reinsurance contracts, conducting targeted portfolio analysis, and developing and maintaining state-of-the-art pricing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing and stochastic modeling of complex reinsurance contracts in close cooperation with the non-life underwriting team
  • Development and continuous enhancement of our non-life pricing landscape (methods, models, parameters, and tools)
  • Involvement in the parametrization of the VIG Re capital model
  • Knowledge sharing with internal stakeholders and mentoring of junior actuaries
  • Portfolio analysis and insights generation
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a non-life (re)insurance pricing position, at least 5 of which must be pricing Motor or General Liability reinsurance treaties
  • Strong knowledge of the local insurance market, including annuities practices
  • University degree in financial mathematics, statistics, or similar
  • Solid sense of accountability and proactive mindset
  • Contributes to a positive team spirit, motivated to work individually and in project teams
  • Fluency in English and French
  • VBA or Python an advantage
