Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director and Marketing Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth for Marriott International, Inc. in Paris. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and marketing, with a strong understanding of the hotel industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the hotel's brand and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize room rates and occupancy levels.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the hotel's target market and customer needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing.
Requirements
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- Preferred: 4 year college degree.
- Demonstrated skills in supervising a team.
- Lodging sales experience.
- Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
