Job Title: Electrical Product Cost Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Product Cost Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Design to Cost team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the competitiveness of our products in the tender phase and during project execution.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating product technical and economical features, supporting technical business cases with relevant cost analysis, and collaborating with suppliers to negotiate costs. You will also develop costing tools and methodologies, and build cost training modules to support the company's cost culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support technical business cases with cost analysis and optimization
  2. Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate costs and develop cost-saving strategies
  3. Develop and implement costing tools and methodologies
  4. Build cost training modules to support the company's cost culture
  5. Support the design and development of electrical products to ensure cost-effectiveness
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Product Cost Engineer with a Master's degree in electrical engineering and/or control/automation. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the control field in industry or other companies with product development stakes. Railway industry knowledge is desirable.
